Title
[LB032422], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Julius H Block, September 26th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"I send you a sketch of a six branch tube for reproduction; also reproducer trumpet and big receiving funnel, as requested. I think you can get them made there by any Tinsmith equally as good as we make them here. ### In regard to solution for Grenet call, the solution that we used was a Chromic Acid solution, but as it is quite possible that you would have trouble in getting Chromic Acid, we give you one that we had which is almost as good:- ### 16 ½ lbs. Sulphuric Acid ### 6 lbs. Bichromic Soda ### 40 lbs. Water. ### This, of course, would fill your jar quite a number of times, but I give you it in this quantity, because that is the way we made it up here. I shall be glad at any time to give you any information you may wish in regard to this business, and hope that you may be successful in experimenting and showing the machine." Very truly yours, Chas. Batchelor.
