- Editor's Notes
- "I should not bother you with this matter, but that I believe Mr. Allen sailed for Europe last Saturday. When Mr. Briggs and Mr. Allen were here the last time, I showed them that the holes in the socket of the doll body were liable to cut this ribbon that held the legs in. I have been able to remedy this defect by making longer hooks in the inside, which do not interfere with our apparatus. They, however, would make the rubbers on the legs shorter. It is possible that you can allow this? If so, please let me know right away." Very truly yours, Chas. Batchelor.
