Title
[LB032442], Letter from Charles Batchelor to George Edward Gouraud, September 30th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"Yours of the 21st to hand. Your requests in regard to London and Denmark shipments shall be attended to, and I will see that you get all the latest improvements. I have referred your letter to Mr. English, with instructions to carry out its request to the letter. The trouble with the slipping grants was due to the fact that for some time we did not have enough to ship and had to finish them before they were what we called perfectly seasoned: Since, however, we have got in to the new wax shop, we have had about 20,000 seasoning all the time. You will hot have this trouble in future I feel quite sure." Very truly yours, Chas. Batchelor.
