- "Replying to your letter 14th inst. to Mr. Edison the diagram which you enclosed of application No. 716 for multipolar machine was handed to Mr. Kennelly who furnishes the new diagram send you herewith and says in a note to myself ### "The examiner is right and the connection is made in the accompanying sketch which [unclear] replace Org. 1.
