- Editor's Notes
- "Expert Wheelers statement before Mayor reported in Evening papers that if Manhattan Co were made to reduce pressure to three hundred volts they would be compelled to use the Edison system, is not correct, The Manhattan Co as well as Mr. Wheeler know perfectly well that by rewinding their present transformers with larger wires to adapt it to the reduced pressure, they can go right ahead with their present system and still require but half of the copper wire now used in The Edison system." [signed] TAE [List of additional newspapers at top of letter: "Nyork Sun, Tribune, Herald, Times, Star, Morning Journal"; also on top "Mayor Grant"]
