Title
[LB033184], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to E W Clarke, October 19th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"We understand that you make machinery for covering wires with insulation. Please send us circular of same, and also specify what pressure can be used in the machine to put such covering on. The purpose for which we want to use the machine, is for compressing some material, and we should like to know if you think it will answer that purpose. It is for small pieces, and the material that they are pressed from is in a plastic state. Please answer immediately, and oblige." Yours truly, THOMAS A. EDISON By [signed] TAE
