- Title
- [LB033212], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Benjamin F Stevens, October 21st, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- I have your letter of 20th instant. I presume that the business to be transacted at the meeting of Directors of the Toy Phonograph Company on Wednesday next will be simply the election of Officers. I handed your letter under reply to Mr. Edison, and he asked me to telegraph the Company to the effect that it would give him great personal satisfaction if you were elected to the office of President, which I have done this afternoon. Kindly let me know when you will be in New York, and if you have not an opportunity to come out to the Laboratory, I will go and see you. Very truly yours, A.O. Tate
