Title
[LB033252], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to New York Telegraph Club, October 24th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Mr. Edison has received your telegram of 22nd instant, asking when it would be convenient for him to grant an interview to yourself and Vice-President. ### Since his return from abroad Mr. Edison has been very busy disposing of work that accumulated during his absence, and he has been compelled to deny himself to everyone. Besides, just at present he is not feeling very well and is considerably under the weather. Under these circumstances he regrets that he cannot now name a day when it would be convenient for him to see yourself and Vice-President. He desires me to say, however, that as soon as he feels well he will let you know and will then make an appointment. Yours truly, A.O. Tate
