Title
[LB033364], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Edison Lamp Co, Francis Robbins Upton, October 31st, 1889
Editor's Notes
[WHAT IS NEW LAMP TIP?] Mr. Edison asks me to say to you that it will not be necessary to socket all our lamps with the new lamp tip. If you equip about ten per cent. Of your daily output with the new tips, you can fill orders from these; while in case no orders are received the remaining lamps are good for our own trade. Very truly yours, A.O. Tate
