- [INTERESTING for the role of laboratory in product testing. Lc 6/6/16] Replying to your letter of 13th instant, in regard to sample of insulation invented by Mr. Chas. T. Snadekor, which you desire Mr. Edison to test, the latter will this work at our regular Laboratory rates. Of course the extent of our charges would depend upon the time consumed in conducting any tests which you desire to have made here, and we cannot name definite figures, but our bills against you would be made up in exactly the same way as these against the Edison shops, the Phonograph Co., and all others for whom work is done in the Laboratory. Please advise us when sample is to be forwarded. Very truly yours, A.O. Tate
