In relation to Mr. Edison's Phonograph Works Trust stock, in my memoranda left for you before my departure for Europe, I stated that Eaton & Lewis were preparing a Trust Agreement with the Garfield Safe Deposit Co., which was not ready before I left. I find that this agreement in duplicate came during my absence, but nothing has been done with it. I think it ought to be executed immediately upon Mr. Edison's return, and the stock placed in trust without any further delay, especially considering the negotiations now pending.
