Dec. 9, 1889 Lewis Miller, Esq., Akron, Ohio Dear Sir With reference to your letter of 4th instant to Mr. Edison, a half-gallon Grenet battery would answer your purpose. It will run the phonograph for ten or twelve hours and is very convenient for transportation. Yours truly, A.O. Tate Private Secretary
