Dec. 9, 1889 Mr. John Birkinbine, Philadelphia, Pa. Dear Sir:- Referring further to your letter of 28th ultimo, in regard to the mines of the Phila. & Reading Coal & Iron Co., in Putnam Co., N. Y., Mr. Edison says, when you get time come over to Orange and bring with you all the maps, data &c. in regard to this property, when he will discuss the matter with you.
