Title
[LB035058], Letter from Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, November 29th, 1889
Editor's Notes
I have your favor of the 27th, and return you herewith Mr. Dyer's letter. ### I think it would be a big mistake for Mr. Edison to make any exhibit whatever at Edinburgh. He has made a tremendous show at Paris, at a very great expense, and all the credit that can be attached to such a thing, he has gotten. He could not obtain any further recognition by any exhibit at Edinburgh, neither would it be of any business assistance to us. Furthermore, inasmuch as the exhibit there would be nothing compared with the Paris exhibit, comparisons would to made to the actual injury of Mr. Edison and his business. ### I would very much like you to show him this letter when he reads Mr. Dyer's. Yours truly, SAMUEL INSULL
