United Edison Manufacturing Company,
New York City
Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has asked me to acknowledge the receipt of your favor under date 11th instant, in which you enclosed a communication addressed to yourself by Mr. C.C. Warren, informing you of the action taken by him and his associate, Mr. Badt, in connection with a resolution recently passed by the Chicago Electric Club, in regard to Mr. Edison's opinions as expressed in his article which appeared in the NORTH AMERICAN REVIEW of last month. Mr. Edison feels very much indebted to your Western representatives for causing the revocation of the resolution referred to, and he will be under obligation to yourself if you will kindly convey to Messrs. Warren and Badt his most sincere thanks for the action which they have taken in the matter.
Very truly yours,
AO Tate
Private Secretary
P.S. I return herewith Mr. Warren's communication.
