My Dear Dick,-
I have your letter of 16th instant. I have been away with Mr. Edison for the past 10 days and we have just returned. In regard to Ore Milling business, Mr. Edison says that at present he does not desire to do anything further, preferring to await developments in connection with the work already started before deciding on any definite plan for the exploitation of the system.
With relation to your account, I am giving the matter every attention. The delays have been altogether unavoidable, and you can rest assured that I will get it settled at the earliest possible moment.
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
