Dec. 19, 89 Thomas B. Connery, Esq., Richmond Hill, L.I. My Dear Sir:- Replying to your letter of 18th instant, I beg to say that Mr. Edison has been away from Orange nearly all the time for the past month, and I myself have been absent for the past ten days. I wired you this morning that Col. Gouraud's address was #74 Madison Avenue, New York City. In regard to letter which you forwarded here from the City of Mexico to be reported to Col.
