- Editor's Notes
- I have your letter of 11th instant in regard to phonograph. I understand that the North Am. Phonograph Company, which has entire control of this business, has arranged for an extension of the time during which they are permitted to import machines into Canada, but for all the details as to what they have done and what they intend to do, I must refer you to them, as I have no knowledge of the subject myself. Neither can I tell you at present what steps are to be taken in regard to manufacture of movements for speaking dolls in the Dominion. Mr. Edison has full control of the manufacture of this movement, and when the time comes he will take such steps as are necessary. ##I take pleasure in forwarding you, under another cover, one of Mr. Edison's photographs as requested.##I hope you will be able to run out and see us next time you are down this way. Yours truly, AO Tate
