Title
[LB035192], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to William E Hibble, December 20th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Referring to your recent letter in regard to Mr. Gilliland's proposed visit to Ft. Myers, I presume you are acquainted with the fact that Mr. Edison and Mr. Gilliland are no longer associated, and that Mr. Edison is suing the latter for recovery of certain moneys. If Mr. Gilliland carries out his intention and goes to Ft. Myers, Mr. Edison wishes you not to permit him or any of his party to enter the Laboratory or to go about the premises belonging to Mr. Edison. Neither must any of Mr. Edison's property be used by them for any purpose whatsoever. It is unnecessary for me to go into details of instruction in this connection. You will understand from what I have said exactly what Mr. Edison's wishes are. Thanking you for your letter, I am Yours very truly, AO Tate
