Dec. 21, 1889 My Dear Mr. Douglas,- With reference to your letter of 14th inst., we have been unavoidably delayed in getting out the talking dolls, and it is doubtful if there will be any of them ready for Christmas. If it is possible, in any way whatever, to get you one before Christmas, I will do so. I think there is not the least doubt but that I can secure a doll for you before the new year.
