Dec. 21, 89 Messrs J.M. Ceballos & Co., 80 Wall Street, New York City Dear Sirs:- I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of 19th instant, in regard to the formation of a corporation to which it is intended to transfer the Mexican rights to the phonograph. The name which you have selected, namely EDISON'S SPANISH-AMERICAN PHONOGRAPH COMPANY, seems to me to be somewhat too comprehensive. I think that your Company should be called the EDISON MEXICAN PHONOGRAPH COMPANY, which would identify it clearly with the territory that it will control. Yours very truly Thomas A. Edison
