Dear Sirs:-
I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of 19th instant, in regard to the formation of a corporation to which it is intended to transfer the Mexican rights to the phonograph. The name which you have selected, namely EDISON'S SPANISH-AMERICAN PHONOGRAPH COMPANY, seems to me to be somewhat too comprehensive. I think that your Company should be called the EDISON MEXICAN PHONOGRAPH COMPANY, which would identify it clearly with the territory that it will control.
Yours very truly
Thomas A. Edison
