Dec. 21, 89 Col. Geo. E. Gouraud Edison House "B." Northumberland Ave., London, W.C., England Dear Sir:- Mr. D.M. Yeomans, sailed on Wednesday last for Europe to attend to some business on behalf of the Edison Phonograph Toy Manufacturing Co., and he will call at your office, at my suggestion, to obtain information in regard to patents on the phonograph which have been taken out by you during the past few years. I will be indebted if you will kindly give Mr. Yeomans every facility for obtaining such information as he may require. Yours truly, [signed] Thomas A. Edison
