Referring to my letter of May 23rd of this year, calling for the payment of your participation in the Edison Gen'l Electric Syndicate, and stating to you that you are expected to hold the securities then received subject to the order of the Syndicate until January 1, 1890, I beg to inform you that, in the interest of all parties concerned, the syndicate has extended until April 1, 1890, the time of so holding the said securities subject to its order.
