Mr. Batchelor,
I attach a copy of a letter received this morning from the President of the Edison Phonograph Toy Mfg. Co.
A.O. Tate
Edison Phonograph Toy Manfg. Company
Boston Feb. 25th, 1890
Thomas A. Edison, Esq.,
Orange, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
In accordance with a vote passed by the Board of Directors at their meeting this morning, I write to you, to call your attention to the very unusual, and apparently unnecessary delay at your factory, in delivering us Talking Dolls as per standard submitted to us standard submitted to us January 29th, 1890.
We are informed by our General Manager in New York, that part of this delay is caused by the nets of your Superintendent, Mr. English, who does not appear to be competent of handling the manufacture of dolls, and we beg to ask you to have this matter investigated and remedied.
Yours very truly,
