April 1, 1890 The National Intelligence Co., P.O. Box 2747, New York City. Dear Sirs:- I beg to call your attention to the very meagre supply of newspaper clippings which your Company is now furnishing to Mr. Edison. I am aware that he complained some time ago because he received a great many duplicates, but now you seem to have gone to the other extreme and all but cut off entirely his supply of clippings. What is the cause of this? I think it is possible for you to render a much broader service than you are at present and avoid duplicating the articles sent. At all events, Mr. Edison is not at all satisfied with the supply of newspaper extracts which has has been receiving from your Company for some time past. Yours very truly, A.O. Tate Private Secretary
