Edison General Electric Company, New York City.
Dear Sir:-
I have received your letter of 29th instant, enclosing copies of letters received by you from the General Manager of the Lamp Manufacturing Dep’t., also from the General Manager of the Light & Power Dep’t., with reference to the advisability of your Company making a 50 volt lamp for the opposition trade of somewhat lower economy than our standard lamp.
I approve of Mr. Upton’s suggestion to make a three and six-tenths (3.6) watt lamp, and think that it should be acted upon at once.
