February 3, 1891. John S. Wise, Esq., Edison General Electric Company, New York City. Dear Sir:- Replying to your letter of 2nd instant, Mr. Edison went to Schenectady last night and will be there for a week or more. He could not state definitely how long he would be detained, as it depends upon the progress of certain experiments he has to conduct at the Machine Works. Yours very truly, A. O.
