March 28, 1891.
S.W. Bonnell, Esq.,
White House Station, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
With reference to your letter of 21st instant addressed to Mr. Edison at Ogdensburgh, requesting information in regard to an engine and crusher for use in connection with the [illegible text] of the roads of your township, Mr. Edison has instructed me to say to you in reply that the Brennan Crusher is the one used by him, and, in his opinion, there is no better crusher made, although there may be cheaper ones which cost more to repair than they are worth. Mr. Edison regrets that he is unable to offer any suggestions in regard to an engine.
Yours very truly,
(Signed A.O. Tate)
Private Secretary.
