Francis R. Upton, Esq., Gen’l Manager.
Lamp Mfg. Dep’t., Edison Gen’l. Electric Company,
Harrison, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has received your letter of 1st instant, returning letter of Dyer & Seely, in regard to the application of Mr. J.T. Marshall, on Conductors of Electric Lamps. Mr. Edison notes that in the opinion of Mr. Marshall and yourself it would be useless to prosecute the claims further, and he has to-day written Dyer & Seely to that effect.
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
Private Secretary.
