J.B.H. Gordon Esq.,
No. 11 Pall Mall, London, S.W.,
England.
My dear Sir:-
I desire to introduce to you Mr. J.C. Henderson, Engineer-in-Chief of the Edison General Electric Company, who present this letter shortly after his arrival in London, where he goes to take a short vacation and to recover from the effects of a somewhat protracted illness. Mr. Henderson would like to employ a few of his spare moments in observing your practice in England in the construction and operation of General Electric Lighting Stations, and I will be much indebted if you can give him facilities for doing so. Permit me to express my appreciation of your courtesy.
Yours very truly,
Thomas A. Edison
