My dear Insull,-
I have your letter of 27th instant, informing me hat Mr. Charles T. Porter is particularly anxious that we should take up his experiments on engines. I agree with Mr. Kruesi and Mr. Henderson in this matter and share their opinion that it would be a waste of money to conduct these experiments. Porter is evidently cracked.
