19th August 1891 F.R. Colvin Esq., Business Manager, The Electrical Engineer 150 Broadway, N.Y. Dear Sir, Mr Edison desires me to thank you for your letter of 19th inst enclosing correspondence with Mr. Frank Harrison. We received a few days ago from Mr. Harrison a letter written in about the same strain as the one he addressed to you. As is our custom, we simply ignored the matter entirely. He is a very transparent knave. Your letter to him on the date 19th inst ought to bring him to scares, but I doubt very much it will do so, as he appears to have absolutely no self respect, and it is-in all probability too old to acquire it now.
