M.D. Barr, Esq., District Manager,
Edison General Electric Company,
77 Bay St.,
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Dear Sir:--
I hand you herewith, copy of letter addressed to me by Mr. Gladstone, Manager of our Silver Lake Factory, which has been called forth by my inquiries concerning exporting of Edison-LaLande cells to Canada otherwise than through the Edison General Electric Company.
It is possible that Rathbun & Company run the cells across on their own boats and enter them duty free at night or some other convenient time, but I hardly think it probably. I give you this information for what you think it is [illegible text] worth.
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
