Dear Sir:-
I return herewith Mr. Dickson’s letter to you under date 11th instant, together with a copy of a communication which I have to-day addressed to Mr. Dickson and which explains itself. Mr. Edison was extremely annoyed when he learned what Mr. Dickson had done. He gives expression to his feelings in regard to Mr. Dickson’s demand in the attached memorandum which he left with me to forward to you.
