Charles D. Shain, Esq., District Manager,
Edison Gen’l. Electric Co.,
Edison Building,
Broad St.,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
This letter will be handed to you by Mr. J. P. Griffin, who is desirous of obtaining a position, if possible with the Edison General Electric Company. Mr. Griffin worked for a short time in my Laboratory, in the Chemics Department, and while there he performed the work entrusted to him to my satisfaction. Mr. Griffin informs me that he has kept himself familiar with electrical affairs, and he is of the opinion that if given an opportunity in some one of the departments of your Company he could make himself useful. I commend him to your consideration.
Yours very truly,
Thos A Edison
