MEMORANDUM FOR MR. RANDOLPH:
I want you to send us in to-morrow (that is to-day) a memorandum showing exactly how our bills are made up against the Edison Gen’l. Electric Company. Take the first bill that is rendered for the month of October, 1890. I think that it is a bill for lamp experiment. There are, I think, about seventeen dollars of details given, and the balance, some $600, is labor and fixed charges. I am not exactly sure as to these figures, but the proportions are about as I have named them. It is the bill mentioned on the first statement of this series of bills. If you do not understand just what I want call me up on the telephone to-morrow morning and I will explain it further.
