Your letter of the 7th inst came to hand and in reply I beg to state that Mr. Edison is away at present on the Dover Mountains and will n be back for two or three weeks and from the way he spoke when I asked him a second time for the $50.00/100 which he sent you I am sure he will not send you the $250.00 but I will see him as soon as he returns but I am sure what his answer will be
