Dear Sir:-
I beg to enclose you herewith 100 coupons of the United N.J. R.R. and Canal Co which were 189w which were due in Sept 1892.
If you could let me have a check for two thousand dollars for same drawn to the order of Mr. Edison you will do me a great favor as Mr. Edison left me there coupons to obtain the cost to pay a call of his which must be paid on Tuesday sure, and if I wait to collect these from Philadelphia I am afraid I will run short.
