Dec. 10, 1891.
H. Park Bowden, Esq.,
No. 25 Westbury Park,
Bristol, England.
Dear Sir:-
I am returning to you by this mail, under separate cover, the MS of your story “A Phonograph’s Disclosure,” which you sent for perusal and which I read with pleasure.
The part which the phonograph is made to perform in the story is certainly within the instrument’s capabilities, and in no instance is the machine represented as accomplishing anything beyond its powers.
Congratulating you upon your ability to write so interesting a narrative and trusting that it will meet with the success which it deserves
I am, yours very truly,
Thomas A. Edison
