Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has asked me to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 30th ultimo and to thank you for the invitation therein extended to him to be present at the experiments to be conducted by the Harriman Wrought Iron Co. at Rockaway, N.J., in connection with the Neville Direct Iron process, and which are to begin next Monday. Should Mr. Edison find it possible to visit Rockaway and witness the experiments in question he will be very glad to do so, but at present he is not sure that his engagements will permit of his attendance there.
