Dear Sirs:-
In accordance with the provisions of Section 9 of what is known as the Bouverie Agreement of February 18th, 1882, I beg to inform you that I have made an improvement upon and connected with the said inventions referred to in said agreement, the same being an improvement in the Leading-in-Wires of Incandescent Lamps, and have obtained British Letters Patent No. 15,792, of October 16, 1890, therefor; and that the experimental and other expenses in connection therewith and heretofore paid by me, are as follows, namely:
Experimental expenses leading up to improvement in Leading-in-Wires-----------$4,800.00
One hundred per cent added---------- ---------------------------------------------------------4,800.00
Expense of obtaining patent No. 15,792, of 1890------------------------------------------90.00
Expense of maintaining said patent------------------------------------------------------------800.00
Total $10,490.00
Will you kindly notify me on what date you shall have received this letter, and also further notify me within three months after the receipt of this letter, whether or not you elect to acquire the said invention and patent therefor, pursuant to the terms of said agreement.
