Feb. 6, 1892.
Samuel Insull, Esq., 2nd Vice-President,
Edison Gen’l. Electric Co.,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
The Edison General Electric Co. are carrying on their books a credit of twenty-three thousand dollars ($23,000) for the saving effected at the Lamp Works by certain of Mr. Edison’s improvements. We have never placed this amount on our books, as we understand the account has not been verified. Could not this matter receive early attention, so that we can make our records conform with those of the Edison Gen’l. Co.?
Yours truly,
A. O. Tate
Private Secretary,
