W. E. Gilmore, Esq., Ass’t. Manager,
Schenectady Works, Edison Gen’l. Electric Co.,
Schenectady, N. Y.
Dear Sir:-
Your order for 50 lbs. of non-inflammable compound, referred to in your letter of 15th instant, has been received. We regret to say we are unable to supply you with any more of the material in question. Mr. Edison says that he lost hope of ever getting anything satisfactory in these insulating substances, and as the man who had charge of the experiments is not now at the Laboratory it is impossible for us to fill your last order.
Yours truly,
THE EDISON LABORATORY
