Dear Mr. Martin,-
With reference to your inquiry of 21st instant, the last medal received by Mr. Edison from England, is the "Albert Medal," presented to him last year by the London Society of Arts, through its President, the Prince of Wales, for his services in connection with electric lighting, telephony, telegraphy etc. Notices concerning this presentation appeared in the press at the time.
