Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has received your letter of 16th instant, asking his permission to embody in a series of articles on insulators and conductors which you are publishing in the "Electrical World" an account of such theoretical work as you may have done while employed in his Laboratory. In reply Mr. Edison directs me to inform you that his experiments in the direction indicated are not yet completed, and he does not wish any information concerning them published at present. Regretting that he is unable to comply with your request
