Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has received your letter of 24th instant, in regard to the classification of the data contained in his old Laboratory note books, and says in reply that he will be glad to turn these books over to Mr. Jenks so that your suggestion may be carried out.
If you will send Mr. Jenks to the Laboratory Mr. Edison will provide him with a man to assist in the collection of the note books.
