June 3rd, 1893. A. E. Kennelly, Esq., Orange, N. J. Dear Sir:- I have your letter of 1st inst. in reply to mine of 31st. ult. re ohmmeters and wattmeters. The inquiry in regard to these meters came from The General Electric Co. of London. Their representative, Mr. Hirst, assured me that there was a large sale for them. If you can advise me about what it would cost to complete a portable wattmeter, I will endeavor to obtain an order from the General Electric Co. for a certain number of them. I do not contemplate offering these instruments to the general trade, but the ohmmeters we could handle in conjunction with the voltmeters, in view of your statement that the instruments are practically identical.
