June 7, 1893.
Thomas A. Edison, Esq.
My dear Mr. Edison,-
You have already been informed that the General Electric Co. have confirmed their order for Kennelly Ampere meters, 300 in number, at $30 each. The Edison Manufacturing Co. ought easily to clear between four and five thousand dollars on this order. This number of instruments is sufficient only for samples for the Gen'l. Electric Co., and we will doubtless get another order before the first is finally completed, all of which means that the Edison Manufacturing Co. should be on "velvet" before many months.
Yours truly,
[AO Tate?]
