Dec. 8th, 1893.
P. V. Peltier, Esq.,
Ottawa, Ill.
Dear Sir:--
Mr. Edison received your letter of 27th ult., in regard to patent which was granted to him on new process for making plate glass, and in reply he directs me to inform you that his experimental apparatus worked O. K.
Mr. Edison has, however, disposed of his interest in this patent to parties in Cleveland who he believes are about to try experiments on a scale larger than the experiments conducted by Mr. Edison.
Yours very truly,
AO Tate
Private Secretary.
