Dear Sir:-
In reply to your favor of the 22nd inst I beg to State that you are mistaken about De Campo lot spoiling our mining of lower Ogden & N. J. I. Mg property. De Camp is there –
[diagram of the property]
The best part of De Camp ore is on Ogden. I think an option for one year at a reasonable amount down. $15000. final is O.K. After you get De Camp you can probably close Carters Moller five year option 15¢ royalty. $20000. final is O.K. better close it never mind [Turmere?], I will see him after you get Moller and I think I can get it for mere nominal sum as it would feed Del Lack and W.R.R. in which they own 20 Million Bonds &c.
Dont want to settle accident cases I think your Newton mans ideas are correct and we will win. postponement is more desirable than anything just now as I want to save every cent for the regular business.
Dont think our people had anything to do this Election everything went Repub Assessor and all
Yours truly.
Thos A Edison
